It’s officially Christmas shop, light watch and reflection time. I’ve been keeping myself busy with local Christmas events, bakery browsing and finding the perfect something for that special someone. Here’s hoping your December is dreamy!
Grouse | B and I hit Grouse Mountain’s Peak of Christmas event on Saturday, December 5. Although our experience was a near tragic one (loooong story), this photo highlights a silver lining: together time.
Incendio | Friday nights have become habitual: Pizza and Suits. Although I favour Cotto, B and I tried out Incendio, a Gastown Italian Pizzeria. This beauty is salmon, crab meat, spinach and caper. Tasty but not top notch; Cotto takes first place.
Champagne kisses | Voluspa is my go to candle brand. The scents are long lasting, the candles are high quality and the packaging is aesthetically pleasing. A few of my favourite scents include Crisp Champagne (as shown), Bella Sucre and Baltic Amber. This holiday I’m hoping for Bourbon Vanille.
Red velvet | I can’t say I’ve ever been one for Red Velvet, but this cupcake, perfectly iced was one for the books! Available at Sweet Tooth Cakery, North Vancouver.
49th | This local coffee, described as powerful nutty and caramel infused is a deep, dark and delicious French roast perfect for kick staring hectic weekday and leisurely weekend mornings alike.
