Autumn in Alberta 2.0

This year was the third consecutive that I visited Alberta, but this time I went for a different reason: To visit my sister who recently moved to Edmonton, celebrate Thanksgiving with her (a tradition we unintentionally started last year) and enjoy an early thirtieth birthday celebration with her.

Edmonton was lovely; relaxing and full of family time. When we weren’t shopping or eating, we were visiting the brand new community gym and watching movies at home.

My Alberta trip started in Calgary to visit dear friends of mine. Due to an illness I wasn’t able to see one friend, but I was able to shop, dine and visit quaint Inglewood with the other. Inglewood rounded out my Calgary trip to 17th and Stephen Ave. Next time Kensington is a must!

Although it was too early for any corn mazes or haunted houses, and the snow threw a wrench into most outdoor plans, I had a much appreciated visit spent recuperating and connecting with those closest to me.
