Quay Succulents

Friday Five Moments

It’s been a full week and I can’t wait to spend Saturday in North Vancouver’s trails with a visiting friend. We’re planning on exploring the Shore, taking in the Richmond Night Market, kayaking False Creek and enjoying the sunset from the Lion’s Gate Bridge. Hope your weekend is exactly what you want it to be!

Queen's Park Petting Zoo

Fuzzies

Petting zoo | Every Saturday morning should start with an Americano and a visit to the zoo. These sweet little ducks live with their farm friends: Piglets, sheep, goats, rabbits, peacocks and a baby calf!

Rotisserie Homer Street Cafe

Homer St.

Rotisserie | B and I went out for a meal with friends on Saturday to a place that’s been on my list for some time. The chicken, their specialty, was amazing and the comapny wasn’t too bad either.

Quay Succulents

Lined pathways

Walks | Since moving into our new home and with the accompanying warm weather and late nights, B and I have been walking a bunch. These colourful succulents line the Quay.

New West Quay Gelato

Italian

Butterscotch on the Quay | Listen, ice cream, sorbet and gelato are easily lived without desserts for me. That said after dinner at home together with B we went for a walk and I promised him that this time I’d grab a scoop to. This Italian Butterscotch was next level.

Glenburn Soda Fountain & Confectionery

Glenburn

1950’s | A quit visit to the iconic Glenburn Soda Fountain & Confectionery straight out the 1950’s for B’s nightly ice cream.
